This is key (below).  They already know you are married based on the earlier information, so Part 5 Number 3 is 0 since your spouse is already included as the beneficiary in Number 1.

Good Luck!

Note:  Do not count any member of your household more than once.

and

Persons not sponsored in this affidavit:

Please I need clarification about the household size after reading your statement of "and persons not sponsored in this Affidavit "

So I wasn't supposed to add my child from a previous marriage on the Affidavit as member of the household? Just my spouse and step child are supposed to be on it making the household 3?

I am asking cos we got an rfe for the Affidavit of support.

Thanks

So what does the RFE ask for?  You can post a scan of it here, but make sure you block out any personal identifying information.

Anyway, if you have a child under the age of majority (21 in the US you should have included them in line 4.

Item Number 4. Type or print the number of unmarried children you have who are under 21 years of age, even if you do not have legal custody of these children. You may exclude any unmarried children under 21 years of age, if these children have reached majority under the law of their place of domicile and you do not claim them as dependents on your Federal income tax returns.
