You should PM Captain Ewok and see if he can't delete your post # 13. That is not wise to post your case number .

Once your petition is approved, it is then sent to NVC where some checks are done and then it should be forewarded to the Embassy in Cairo. Depending on how long NVC keeps your petition depends on how fast they complete the checks.

Try calling NVC and ask them if they have your petition. 1 603 334 0700 press 1 then 5. If they do, they will give you a new case number, probably starting with CRO2007****** .

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

July 12, 2007 - Received letter from NVC informing that they forwarded our petition in USEM

July 19, 2007 - Packet 4 Left USEM

Medical - August 27, 2007

Interivew - September 4, 2007 .....APPROVED....Praise God!!!

Visa in Hand - September 12, 2007

I agree with Nagishkaw i would not post your case number although will be getting a new one after it reaches NVC. It takes time to go from the NVC and clear there then to the Embassy in Cairo then you have to wait for packet 3 and then you get and interview. Afterwards is Administrative Processing since you are going through Egypt it will take time look at other timelines on here including mine below and it will give you an idea of how long things take. But everyone's case is different some take longer than others do. I wish you all the best on your journey and CONGRATULATIONS!! to you both on recieving your NOA2!!!!
