Who has been out of the country?  Who is applying for adjustment of status?  Your timeline states this is an IR-1/CR-1 case.

If someone is outside the US ,  they can't be adjusting status

so,  where is this person

timeline doesn't match this so,  what r u applying for?

if a petition has been sent already to bring alien to US,  there would be nothing a lawyer can do unless  serious issues that require a waiver

I hired a lawyer in the US to get my husband back home. We have been married for 10 years.  On August 13, it will be 10 years since he has been in Honduras.  I have an approved 130 from 2013 which is still active.  He got deported in 2013.  That was his 3rd deportation.   I filed a 212 wavier and 601 in 2014.  It was denied, but they changed his 20 year bar to 10 years. I think the only reason he did not get permanent bar because of our relationship.  We have been together almost 20 years.  I have been to Honduras over 19 times.  I have probably spent easily over 100 thousand on going there and sending money.

Everything I come it is more dangerous than the last.

A few clarifying questions:

  • Did you file for Adjustment of Status back in 2013, and your husband was deported while the AOS was pending? Or did you file I-130 for consular processing, and he was deported during a visit while that was pending?
  • What was the reason/circumstance of the deportation?
  • Why were the waivers denied?
  • Do you have an attorney right now? If so, what exactly is your question?

I got my 130 after he was deported. There was no reasons, but the 3 deportations.  After he had been deported, I hired a lawyer.  I filed the paper in early 2014, I had to get his immigration records.  He is 48.  He to US when he was 17.  He got deported twice before I met him in 2004.  The reason they didn’t approve my waivers is because I could not prove hardship.  His punishment was 10 years out of country.  What I asking is if I can use the same lawyer in US that I used first time?  Do you have to use a lawyer in his country?

3 deportations means he must be at least 9C, lifetime bar waiverable after 10 years.

A lawyer seems a good idea with that history.

Not if he is out of the US.

Learning the terms associated with the immigration process is something you should consider.  Knowledge is power.  You have a long and complicated journey ahead if you want to bring him to the US.
