Does your case status online show if it’s abandoned?

In 2018 I entered the USA from Canada with a 1 month expired 10-year PRC. They send me through on a visa waiver (stamp in my passport) but I also signed a form (esta?). I’m worried they made me sign away my resident status without me knowing to continue as visitor. It was late at night, stuck at the Canadian border for hours with 5 kids). But they never confiscated my greencard or asked me any questions about abandoning it.

So I entered my case number from my expired PRC to see what it would say and it says my case was approved in 2008. But if I did sign the I-407 back in 2018 would it say ‘abandoned’ or ‘no case found’?

You’d never have to sign anything ‘without knowing it.’   Any document to be signed would state the terms.

Case numbers or status can be erratic. Best bet is to file FOIA.
