:help: I'm a conditional perm resident living w/my husband in GA. I just received my greencard early July 07 and applied for SSN recently. Waiting period 6-8wks.

Would it pose a problem with immigration if I relocated to Washington State for a job offer while my husband is still working in GA? We are not on the grounds of divorce, it just happens to be that GA doesnt offer many jobs and I want to go there to also learn the family business.

Please advise. Thanks!

It shouldn't. Many couples live and work in different states from their partner. Of course, knowing that at this time, you've got plenty of time to document and collect evidence of the bonafides of marriage that are not dependent upon a shared residence.
