Not to worry, my wife & I are driving up to the Border's in Oxford to get our copies (yes one each so we don't have to wait for the other to finish it!!). I'll also probably be the only person over the age of 12 who's actually going in costume...managed to dig out a bunch of old clothes which I'm using as a Sirius Black costume (the snazzy suit/waistcost stuff he wears in OOTP, not the prison clothes!). We're doing our best not to see any spoilers beforehand...as soon as we get the book we're out of there, cans of red bull in hand, ready to pull an all nighter!!

Got the book and about to go start reading. I promised a friend I'd wait till she got back to start (so nice). And don't worry, I was wearing my Quidditch robe (and goggles).

Though, unfairly, you are probably halfway through the book now ;-)

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

We waited until when we felt the rush would have died down and then went to Wal-Mart at 1.30am, it's the only place we know of that's 24 hours around here. So we got the book, plus some snacks and settled down to read it.

I liked it. But there were some big plot holes and the epilogue was pretty bad. I wish she'd made it a bit more substantial.
