I have been reading a lot of forums around here and different stories from the VJ (its really cool to see all the stories) and it has made me curious to see whether women or men petition more.. or if it is pretty much equal... I really would love to do it by each region, bc asia and russia seem to be petitioned more by men (remember big generalization), and africa, middle east seem to be petitioned more by women... I don't really know about south america, australia, or europe... but I don't know how to do that all in one poll? it would be nice to have the second question depend upon your answer to the first... oh well... maybe in time...:whistle: anyways.. sorry for rambling.. its late

I do spent way more time on here than my USC husband. I actually opened a profile here. I guess he would never have.

WOW!! I was just thinking about doing this poll because after a yr on VJ,, I became curious. All the stereotypes with "mail order brides" and such paint a different picture of the process and paint it mainly as dirty old men seeking young concubines. I noticed on VJ that lot's of women seem to be applying for visa's for their male beneficiaries. Each time I have to go..hey... where's those visa bashers and reporters??? I know this poll is un-scientific, but WOW... 45% of those polled are women pettionion their men. That completely throws stereotypes out the window! Good poll..!! NEVER would have guessed that high a percentage!! I would have guessed 50/50 based on VJ posts I've noticed for yr.

Good luck to everyone in the mad process called a Visa Journey!!! God Bless!
