CR1 case was rejected due to failed payment

If there’s anyone who went through the same issues please help!

my husband and I applied CR1 online later September 2022.
He paid via bank account because there’s two options for payment which were: credit card OR through your bank account. We picked bank account and he did put his bank info such as routing # etc. We have received our receipt number but apparently they did not take money out and now our case tracker said “case was rejected because your payment failed.”
If there’s anyone who paid through bank account, let me know how does the process usually go? Also after the case was rejected I noticed that if you pay via credit card you have to submit G-1450, correct? But I didn’t know that so we just chose payment via bank account and never submitted any documents regarding to payment. Do you think that’s the issue here?

Please help me out if you know any info regarding this. Thank you!!

You'll need to refile.  Best way to use the bank account is to write a personal check.  Bank must be a US Bank in the USA.  Otherwise, pay with a card.  Did you file by mail or online?

We applied ONLINE and we just filled out bank information there and submitted. He used American bank information.

Assuming there were sufficient funds in the account, perhaps there was an error.  What does your rejection notice tell you to do about it?

Yea my husband said the same thing but on app they said they mail us the details for reapply CR1. I just wonder what we needed.

did you pay via credit card? If so, did you fill out G-1450 and scanned it and submitted with your I-130?

You haven't applied for anything yet, and certainly not any visa.  You filed a petition.  They'll send you information on resubmitting the petition.  You'll have to wait for that information.

I see…

We are trying to use credit card next time we resubmit our application. Do we need to add G-1450?

No.

Just pay with the card....I have done so multiple times.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

When I looked up USCIS website, I came across this information, but when you apply online, you do not need this form..?

That's if filing paper application.

Online, just pay with your credit card, as if you are shopping online.
