I know that the alien number is the entry listed on the k-3 visa, POE docu, etc. But how about the alien number of k-4 visa holders (minor)? Does the child share the same A# as the K-3 parent or they don't have an A# at all?

The new alien number will be given to the K4 by USCIS when it issues the green card.

If you have not yet filed an I-130 for your K-4 child, he/she will not have an A# of their own yet. Apparently, you get the A# when the I-130 is approved, and you should find it on the Approval notice for the I-130. Though for my husband his A# was on his approved I-129F for K-3. You do not put the K-3 Visa holder's alien number in your child's K-4 AoS to my knowledge. I had not yet filed an I-130 for my step son when I filled out the AoS forms (I sent the I-130 with the AoS forms though), so he did not have an A# yet, and in the blanks where it said alien number, I put "unknown". Perhaps someone else can give you a better answer though.

Have another qxn re the AOS form, when it comes to listing present spouse and children (part 3B), would my child be applying with me or not ( I am the immigrant)? Since my son will have a separate I-130 and AOS application, should I check NO for that item?
