This coming July 28, I and my husband will be celebrating our 1st year wedding anniversary. And so, I am thinking that I will just do our AOS around our 2nd year anniversary (so issued GC will be 10-yr validity) and I do not have to file I-751 (Removing of Condition). Am I thinking correctly?

FYI. I am planning of going in the US around Sept 2007 (when we will get approved).

Hmmm... No! ;) You must file the I-751 in order to liff the conditions of residence within 90 days of the second year anniversay, using the expiration date listed on the two-year greencard. Once the I-751 is approved, a renewable 10 year greencard will be issued.
