I have applicant name, A#, and recipe number under the subject line "RE: ...". I am not sure what to write in that line after RE:

“Enclosed is additional evidence for the aforementioned case. “

Thanks. I will include A# and Receipt number. Do I still need to mention application date and previous interview date?

I would. The more specific, the easier for the IO to put two and two together so to speak

what should be in the subject line? Something like: "RE: I-485 Adjustment of Status Interview"?

Thanks! I know. Because I am so stressed. I have no clue why there is a second interview and how to prepare it.

I understand. However, this letter is not going to make it or break it in your case.

What are the red flags?

  • Where is the beneficiary from?
  • Is there an age gap?
  • What visa did they adjust from?
  • Any previous marriages? (both for the USC and the beneficiary)
  • Any previous visa applications?
  • How long have you known each other when you got married?

What are the red flags?

  • Where is the beneficiary from?  --- We have joint bank account, credit card, i-bond, IRA account beneficiary
  • Is there an age gap? --- yes. 15 years
  • What visa did they adjust from? --- K1
  • Any previous marriages? (both for the USC and the beneficiary)  --- No
  • Any previous visa applications?  --- Only K1 visa, the first one expired due to pandemic travel ban. Got the second one after travel ban lift.
  • How long have you known each other when you got married? --- more than 5 years.

Is the age difference a red flag?

China

First you need to Get a Grip on your anxiety/stress and frazzled nerves as your state of mind will negatively impact your spouse and put you/her at a disadvantage .

You have done an excellent job preparing/ researching/posting and even consulting an attorney.

If you and your wife have have physically shared bed and bread since getting married, you CANNOT FAIL a Stokes Interview ..even if they ask who showers first in the morning.

Here are random web list of Stokes questions.https://interviewquestions.guru/stokes-interview-questions/

I will assume she was already asked questions and provided satisfactory responses to party membership ( if any) considering she is from China..( at K-1 interview and 1st AOS).

Thank you so much. What you said is so true. I need to control my anxiety, although it is very hard to do.

We live together, love each other, and share everything together. At the first AOS interview, the officer asked me questions first and the ask my spouse the same questions through interpreter. It's almost like ask us questions separately since my spouse doesn't understand English. We did fine. Then the officer asked all those questions in the I485, including the party member question. The answer is No. We are in a real marriage and were well prepared for the first interview. The fact we still need a second interview makes me wondered what the interviewing officer wants and how well prepared is enough. It makes me struggle on every detail and causes more anxiety.
