Hi there,

Today my girls and I visited the local Civil Surgeon in our area and now I'm at a total loss. Here is my story:

I took the forms that were given to me by the doctor in Canada that did my K1 and K2 medicals for us. Apparently that is not good enough for them. They wanted more.

So I explained that that was all I had. Well they agreed mine looked OK but they did not have the titre results on it? Don't they? Isn't that was what that was all about??? Anyways they said they would get them from the Panel Physician in Canada but in the meantime they would complete the immunization supplement that I needed filled out ONLY if I agreed to get another MMR shot. So I did. Then they completed mine given that they took my word that I had chicken pox as a child or I would have had that shot too?

So I'm done.

Next my children. Well they do not have their final HEP B shot so the Doctor will not sign off on their supplement. Now that isn't due until Oct 23. I wanted to get my AOS done for all of us NOW. So now I'm wondering what exactly I should do. There is another Surgeon in my area that I can see on Saturday. I should call and see if they will sign off on the girls?!?????!!!! I dunno. Also can I apply for Advance Parole for them even if I can't file for AOS???? This sucks cause I live right on the border and my parents are missing the grandkiddies. Besides they are superb babysitters!!!

I don't honestly know what route I should take cause I'm running out of time real fast. Oh and the bill for us today was 315.00 which also was a kick in the pants.

If anyone has had this experience before or knows which path to take I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks so much

V
