I mean, by law you should have done it within 10 days of moving, but no, she's not going to be deported. File AR-11 online, I865 by mail, breathe, carry on.

You said your wife is going to get mad at you for not doing this. Remember, you're together in this process and it's a shared responsibility. She needs to do her part too.

Also, your evidence sounds strong, but if I were you, on my way tomorrow to drop off the I-865 to USPS I'd stop at Chase with your wife and open a joint account.

If you both have DL that show the same address, that's another evidence of cohabitation.

Thank you so much!   We've added front/back color copies of our IDs showing same home address.  Was able to download a new Capital One statement with both our names on it too.  She submitted AR11 last night and I express mailed my I-865.  We made copies of each receipt/confirmation page to include in our folder, placed right behind our affidavit from my father that attests we lived at his place for 2.5 months.

Will research banks/credit unions we can open a joint checking or savings account today.

Hoping to also find a handful more pics, or at the very least, take a couple more when we go out this weekend.

Hi,

In assembling our response package to an RFE we received recently (evidence of shared marital life), is it advisable to write up a one page letter (in a binder, placed immediately following our cover letter and before our supporting documents) just introducing ourselves and what goes on in a typical day or week in our life?

For example, "We typically start our days with...", or "some of our favorite things to do together...", basically helping the reviewing officer to better visualize where we are, who we are and what our marriage is like.

What do you guys think?  We want to paint the officer a vivid but easty to read summary of our shared marital life . Another example, grocery shopping using Instacart, playing tennis, our working out routine, the places we frequent, what are jobs are, etc.

Thank you very much.

Nope..

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

I don’t know exactly what they asked you for but if they need more about your live together is not about small details.

Do you have a print or a exactly phrase about what they asked you?

They don’t care about what you do I your home, the important are things that can be proved with documents, like rent, cars, health insurance, per example

Hi,

In assembling our response package to an RFE we received recently (evidence of shared marital life),

1. Were you asked  any specific evidence to provide?

2. What evidence besides this one page summary are you going to provide?

Why does a one page summary require a binder?

USCIS does not what anything but sheets that are 8.5 X 11 inches, one sided, except when it specifically says otherwise?

Do you have evidence of this?

You will likely get just one opportunity to reply to this RFE.  If you deviate from instructions, your case will likely be denied.  You will then have to file a new I-485 or leave the country.

I would not do that.

Btw, do NOT send a binder of stuff.  USCIS specifically states they do not want binders.

Here the post about the RFE

OP you have solid evidence to send in. No need to explain to them in which order you make your breakfast 😉

I souldn't bother with the one-pager. You probably have enough already but if you're concerned one simple thing you could add would be to draw up a will and a durable financial and/or medical power of attorney that naming the other person in case something happens to one of you. There are some forms online for free - just fill out one from your state, print and have notarized.

I'm curious too..this RFE is for more evidence. Did you submit all of these things already for the initial application and they are asking for more or is it that you didn't submit much evidence with the initial application?

Just to add to what everyone else is saying and trying to add some help.
No, the paragraph you’re planning to write is irrelevant. Anyone can write a paragraph like that, and lie. In addition, you do not want to “over share” information.  Rule of thumb with USCIS is to be honest if they ask, but don’t provide unsolicited information.

Instead, focus on “hard” evidence you might have, such as

Bank statements

credit card statements

Shared life/ health insurance

Joint taxes (both federal and state taxes)

joint utility bills

USPS informed delivery snapshots showing mail coming to both of you at the same address

Joint leases

No binders.
Make a copy of the RFE letter to keep for your own records.
Assemble your response with the RFE letter on top, followed by a cover letter (just summarizing what you’re sending), and then your evidence from newest to oldest. Use under tab labels.

Double punch holes on top, held together by an Acco binder.

Good question but it's AOS from K1 so there was probably none of it ( which is ok ) except for the certificate and that might got lost with USCIS.
