Hello everyone

Does anyone know why the cases are not moving forward in California service center?

I am watching the timelines on visa journey every day and California service center just doesn't move,

Is there a backlog or is it just that people are not updating their timelines / reporting here?

They are actually moving faster approuving k1 and F2a visa but stagnant and super slow processing cr1 visa. It's ridiculous, our life is on hold....

Last thing I saw is some cases from SEPt 16th and 17th getting approuved then one case sept 20th then nothing...

I wish someone could tell us what the rhyme or reason is for the lack of movement at the California service center. I just don’t see anything going on there , at least in regards to IR1/CR1 .  This week alone I have seen quite a few approvals from a few other service centers but not a single one from California. It’s just crickets 🦗 over there.

There was a thread with a former USCIS officer interview where they said that not all new hires can do every form possible just yet which is causing easier cases to move forward while more complicated ones lag behind.
