I had NO idea how bad he was until reading this article. All I recall was the horror of him running everywhere I read conservative news, yet I didn’t join the dots. I knew he had suffered a stroke yet I was not aware how serious this stroke was. I know someone personally who has suffered a horrific stroke and she’s younger than me. A nurse by profession who now walks with a limp as she had terrible blood clots in her left leg and couldn’t move her arm when it all happened. She’s now on hypertension meds and other steroids due to her incredibly high BP. We know that there is a high chance she may have another stroke in less than 6 months. It doesn’t look good for her, we continue to pray. 
 

Fetterman’s condition is serious. I truly hope, as I lay aside my political stance, that he gets help and steps down. He is NOT capable to do the job he was voted in to do whether his wife believes it or not. The fact that he needs assistance with the computer and such is very very concerning. How does he communicate effectively with his electorate?

This person makes a lot of loaded statements. His hospital observation shows no evidence of further stroke, no evidence of seizures. I know it's weird, but people do get dizzy all the time. My dad often has no idea when his heart goes into abnormal territory, very few times he's been able to realize it at all. You'd never know that a few years ago my dad could not walk, talk, feed, or bathe himself. You'd never have any idea that he had major brain surgery. I expect that Fetterman's auditory processing issues will improve with time and therapy, but it will always be a source of frustration for him. Having A-fib he will always be at risk, but many people are walking around never knowing they have it. My dad certainly didn't. He seems to have mental capacity, and he has no problem understanding reading words if that assistance is provided. I still have less concerns with him in this position than I do Feinstein that clearly has severe mental decline and suspect there are a few still successfully getting elected like that. He is the person that was chosen. It's up to him if he wants to quit. I'm guessing most men in his position will be prideful and won't do so.

Fetterman is apparently at Walter Reed, needing treatment for "severe" depression. Am I to infer from the vague statement given that he was feeling suicidal? All I can say is the whole thing has had to be incredibly hard for him. Again, he was the person chosen, if he is willing to step down and let someone else give it a try, I think people could respect that. Political operatives won't be happy of course.

One wonders if Fetterman's wife is having those discussions just like Jean Carnahan.

Are you saying that he and his campaign lied to the voters of PA?  Shouldn't he resign?

Considering the make up of the PA government, I expect any replacement will be a Democrat, but like I said early, Fetterman's wife may be angling to be that appointee.

 

Beyond that, I was making a connection to Santos and all the calls for him to resign.  Not really seeing a difference with Fetterman.
