No, that’s not true. You’re looking at about 15 years. You have to be a citizen, start by filing I-130

Wow 15 years that a very long time

K1?

Sibling visa is the slowest of all of them. Literally any other immigrant visa is faster. Is she studying ? If she is doing an in- demand job - I know at 19 she won’t be yet but maybe she is studying for one - she may be able to get an employment visa sponsored. (Nursing is a popular one for a direct immigrant visa as an example.)

Under 21 is only an advantage for children of the petitioner.

There's also another route albeit indirect, that will be shorter than 15+ years but still not fast in anyway. USC will petition a parent as LPR, when the parent arrives in the US they'll immediately petition your sibling. Altogether, you might be looking at 10+ years.

This should take much shorter than ten years if the child is under 21, right? Though the petitioner  might have to petition their parents like TODAY online to have everything happen before their sister turns 21.

when adil became a citizen he applied for his brother (2015) and of course we still wait

follow my posts to see when the brother is able to even interview as i will post

bringing a parent(s) here and letting them apply for her???

Issues:

1.  understand u would be financially responsible for all immigrants so look at the poverty guidelines and income needed

2.  check into health care costs for whomever u sponsor as it "ain't cheap"

3.  check into all medicines the person(s) take as  they are expensive/  adil's mom came on tourist visa this summer and her diabetes medicine was just under $600 a month

4.  any parent will be homesick fast for other family back home and friends / gossip so be prepared to buy plane tickets often so they can visit Moroc

Sister can apply for dv lottery *even if u petition for her)  but the following applies

The Diversity Immigrant Visa (DV) Program requires the principal DV applicant to have a high school education, or its equivalent, or two years of qualifying work experience as defined under provisions of U.S. law.

understand there really is no fast way

DV visa is such a good suggestion, as are the points of healthcare costs.

Sisters already 19 and OP not yet a citizen. It’s not going to happen before sister turns 21.

DV visa is a great suggestion, but chances are she will never get selected, so it’s never a Plan A or even B
