Visa Class IR1 by mistake.

Yeah everyone says he can get it fixed once he is here but maybe at interview they will give him the right visa class. Im sure these mistakes happen alot and some interview officers notice the mistake so he will be okay regardless.

It doesn't mean anything at this point like @SteveInBostonI130 said above. At the interview they'll give him what's appropriate at that time. And if he enters after you're married for two years CBP will change it again.

The visa class doesn’t matter.  What matters is how long he is married to you when he enters the USA.

If you will be interviewing at Islamabad, IR1 will likely be the appropriate visa class for you by the time you get your interview schedule.  Current wait time for interview at ISL is more than 1 year from NVC DQ date.
