devilette,

You included fear of loss with the question, yes.

Yodrak

devilette,

Do you carry your driver's license with you? You're supposed to. You could lose that, or your credit cards, also.

Yodrak

You can lose a lot of things but that wasn't the question, was it?

And that was not a question, merely a statement.

Yodrak,

You're not supposed to carry your driver's license with you, unless you're driving.

Same goes for credit cards.

Or you want beer. I have to show an ID at my local supermarket every time. I'm 37. They're also carding 70 year olds. Rediculous, as some might say here.

Sorry. :ot2:

I bet it is a lot easier to replace a driver's license then it is to replace a green card. In my state I was able to renew my driver's license over the internet with a debit/visa card and it was mailed to me within a week or so. Compared where it takes weeks to months to years to get visas and green cards. We had to wait 5 hours just to apply for the social security card which arrived eventually several weeks later. And 14 weeks to get my son's passport--amazing how efficient the Federal Government is run these days--maybe it is time for change.

Gareth does. There was just a case here of an LPR w/ Korean citizenship who was stopped and didn't have her green card on her and was locked up for two full weeks while ICE got its ###### together confirming her status.
