Things like joint savings accounts, joint credit cards, joint trips etc.  You don't need all of that to file the I130, but will need it when the I130 proceeds to the NVC phase.

We submitted pictures together, boarding passes, some examples of chat messages, Facebook posts of when we were together, also with other people. Those types of things.

Not required.  Proof you can have - letters, emails, snail mails, delivery receipts, chats, voice call logs, money sent receipts, pictures together, pictures with family and friends, picture, pictures, pictures (name the ppl, date, place, occasion, etc.)  Essentially, all that you have that you and your spouse are communicating - log it and keep it.  If petitioner is able to add beneficiary to the work health insurance, that is good proof too.

Are the following definitely required as proof of marriage?

joint accounts, assets, memberships, leases, mortgages, etc. How is this possible to obtain when you are living in a different country with no US social security number?

Thank you.

No.  The very best evidence you can have is evidence of time actually spent together. Couples living in different countries are not expected to have joint accounts, etc.

Thank you.

You read this list following a sentence that starts with the words, "In addition to the required...."  It also so says "should include one or more..."  Take those words literally.  Couples who have never lived in the same country mainly concentrate on the last item in the list, "any other" which is mostly evidence of time spent together in person.  Read carefully, interpret literally and answer accurately are words to live by in this process.  You've asked this question because you did none of those.  You can change that.  😉

The word is "evidence" not "proof".  Concentrate on evidence of time spent together in person BEFORE and DURING your marriage.

We also submitted wedding pictures with us and also family members and friends included. Also times We spent together on outings before we got married during our dating period. I also submitted flight tickets also flight tickets together. If your spouse as well has added you on any 401k or bills that is additional evidence. Hope this helps.

Thank you Val2215. My husband couldn’t add me to his work health insurance as I don’t have any US social security number.

Your husband should check with HR, a social security number is not necessary to add someone to his health insurance.  He may have to ask for a supervisor.  All I sent to HR was a copy of our marriage certificate, with my husband's name and date of birth, they added him to my US health insurance with no problem.  I also added him as a beneficiary on all my US bank accounts, retirement accounts, life insurance, and as my emergency contact at work.  All this while he was still living in Brazil.  I submitted all the documentation as evidence with the I-130 petition, plus evidence of time spent together (original boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel receipts.).
