Great news, guys!!! Congratulations and thanks for the updates :D

We're October 11th so hoping for a pre-Thanksgiving approval, or otherwise shortly afterwards :)

Thank you and good luck! It really seems like they're speeding up which is great.

Does anybody know how long it takes them to send it to the embassy? Or does that depend on the embassy? I'm in Prague and there's barely any people here on VJ, so I dont have much for reference.

Got DQ'd 20 minutes ago, guys!!!!!

First submission Oct 5th, last submission Oct 6th.

The Russian Police Certificate from the Russian Embassy was accepted despite no MVD stamp!!!!!!

Sorry for the dumb question, but when you say first/second submission, what do you mean? I submit the AOS stuff October 22nd but my wife's civil documents on October 26th. What date would I be watching for?

Well, I meant that I submitted all our documents (AOS+Civil) Oct 5th and an additional document (RUS PCC) Oct 6th, which wasn't in the required docs.

I think I got reviewed on the basis of our Oct 5th submission. So for you, I think Oct 26th is your date.

Interesting, I thought that police certificates were a required document -though I recall in a different thread you said you hadn't lived there got a long time (as a minor?), so you were just sending it 'just in case'?

Exactly the case. On my DS-260 I reported an additional citizenship -- Russian.

Therefore, I uploaded two "passport biographic page" docs -- one required (Jordanian), one additional (Russian). I figured they might look at the Russian passport and request the Russian police certificate, so I volunteered the information.

I wanted there to be no room for RFEs, lol.

I got an RFE note on October 8 for W2s and 1099s (we only uploaded transcripts) - uploaded them on the same day even though the AOS documents all say "accepted". Under the applicant's civil docs, the divorce certificate from a previous marriage was accepted but for some reason it was placed under 'additional docs' and there was a new row under required documents to upload the divorce certificate (it said 'missing') which doesn't make sense since it was actually uploaded and accepted? I don't remember uploading it under additional docs. In any case, we uploaded it again on October 8th. Really nervous about getting another RFE

Oh dang, that makes me nervous a bit. I did the I864EZ with tax transcript for last year (and an additional letter from my employer with current year salary and pay stub), since I will be sponsoring with just my income, which has been very stable and well above the sponsorship requirement...

Fingers crossed this doesn't happen to you!

Sorry about the seemingly unnecessary RFEs. The divorce document one is strange.. I don’t have much to say except I hope you get DQ’d this week.
