Crba at almost a year

My child was born back in april,I was supposed to be there, but she was born about a month early.i went to see her about a month after .because of work and other things I have to take care of.i was going to get my child crba but i didnt bring any documents with me i didn't know you need all those papers.now im.going back to states and i wont be able to start the crba process until next year.will that give me any hassle in the future when i apply for her crba?.that it took me too long.

You complete the forms and provide documents (some places have you do it online) and child’s mother can take the child to the embassy for appointment.

Also, if for any reason you do end up doing it a year after make sure to document her growth with pictures. I applied 4 months after my child was born and I brought photos of my child's growth. The embassy worker asked, looked and kept them.
