Case expedited but never requested

I was DQ in September 15th and got an email on September 30th saying that my appointment had been cancelled although I never had one to begin with. After a little bit of digging in seemed like a lot of people waiting for appointments in Frankfurt received this email. 

 

Today I suddenly received an email again saying “ The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in FRANKFURT, GER approved your request for expedited processing of your immigrant visa application. The National Visa Center sent your immigrant visa application to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in FRANKFURT, GER for their action. The Embassy/Consulate General will contact you soon to schedule a visa interview.“


But I never put in an expedite request. Is this just a normal email that everyone gets? Did anyone else receive an email like this waiting for an appointment in Frankfurt? 

 

IR 1 Green Card
07/06/21 - I-130 sent
04/21/22 - I-130 approved
04/22/22 - NVC received + paid
04/29/22 - Submitted DS-260 
09/15/22 - Case completed at NVC
10/04/22 - Case left NVC
10/11/22 - Consulate received case
10/19/22 - Interview scheduled
11/17/22 - Interview date
Approved on the spot! 🥳

Reentry Permit
05/11/23 - Fee accepted
06/05/23 - Biometrics taken
07/12/24 - Reentry Permit produced
07/13/24 - Case approved!

N-400 
07/16 - filed under 319 (b) (Washington Service Center)
07/16 - received Receipt Notice

No, seems a mistake but if they expedite result!
