Only the things you have commented on .. complications when encountering the law enforcements , driving and always trying to not draw law enforcement attention, not being able to legally document children, not being able to visit family in Mexico, wanting “papers”. Maybe they choose to let sleeping dogs lie and not push the “wants”.

Why do the need to legally document chidren?  All the kids got a free US education, and I am sure they were claimed on taxes for refund purpose.

Does any one want to draw attention from law enforcement?  No one that I know.

What complicated about thier life?  They have a huge new house in the USA, many new vehicles mostly trucks, they have 5 horses they keep at  ranch, they have kids and family and life, Where do you get their life is complicated?  They all make pretty good money working in Texas. They take yearly vacation usually to Florida.  They live a pretty darn good life here.

If they have all that, then what is the purpose of changing now?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Read my post above

You seem to be saying that their lives are not complicated.

They vacation, have many cars and horses, make good money, etc. What do they want to change?

You've posted reasons they would want to petition and then countered those, yourself, with reasons they wouldn't want to. You seem to be playing with us and going back and forth with every point that's been made by people who are trying to help you. What's your purpose in asking for this family who could ask for themselves?

😁

As I stated already one time, I was just checking to see if the parents were even eligible

And then gave us such conflicting information, it would be difficult to answer.
