Hi Guys,

Just a quick update,  Status Change:

“Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken” as of 8/23/2024.

any idea what would be the next steps?

I did a quick search and a lot of folks might have received the same notice yesterday.

It doesn't mean too much, they did this to a bunch of us a few months ago and we're still waiting.

I got my N400 approved this morning at the Charleston, SC office. I have my oath ceremony at 2 PM. Thank you everyone for your help and all the inputs, I have followed so far, since 2020. Everything and everyone helped to get to this point.

Card was mailed! No interview needed and no citizenship application pending. I can’t believe it. Nearly 2 years later…

Good luck everyone!

Congrats! That’s an encouraging news — I had my fingerprints taken almost 2 years ago and have heard absolutely nothing since then. Hopefully mine is not too far down the line!
