Congratulations....I did my biometric yesterday too....got email this morning saying we took action on your case ...I logged in to check but still the same..under review.

I had my biometrics on Wednesday since it was originally scheduled for the 25th. I told the security guard I made travel plans prior and they let me walk in. I got 3 emails next morning just like you. Will see what happens next 🤞🏾

Did they ask for proof? I want to try my luck with the walk in. My biometrics are scheduled for the 25th too

Yes they asked. I told the guard I haven’t paid for my flight because I wanted to be sure about my biometrics. She spoke to the ASC manager and they let me in.

Well had my bio appointment yesterday and this morning my status on my EAD changed to card being produced.

I am still in shock, EAD in 1 month is crazy. No expedite or anything.

Hey Benny, have you received your EAD card?

Hey Paulos, do you know what the procedure was after the bio appointment in terms of getting the EAD approved? Is it processed automatically once the bio's are done?

Hey,

Nothing. We didn't do anything. It was processed automatically.  We submitted her AOS package on October 20, 7 days later (October 28), received NOA1. November 14, was her bio appointment and they issued her EAD by the end of the same day. We are now waiting for her card to be mailed.

That's cool, thanks for the info, and congrats!

Do you know if you have to wait for the EAD card to arrive to begin employment?

Thanks! 😊

I'm not sure if she needs to wait till her EAD card arrives before she can begin to work. We are going to wait for it anyway. It might take 7-10days to arrive.

Did your status say case being actively reviewed before it changed to card being produced?
