That is simply not true. It’s very much optional.

Optional even though you do not have the strong evidences? I might be wrong but I see every evidences necessary. The only time you have to make choices is when you have a bulky of evidences to choose from.

You said it’s a requirement. Required is when USCIS makes it required evidence which it clearly has not.

No, you should read and understand my statement very well. I said it was among the requirements not that it is an obligatory requirement. Also there are many people who might not be able to get the strong requirements simply because they have never live with their spouses before and they might not have joint account, properties together etc so the photos, visas, stamps, tickets and the letters might make their case strong too.

Requirement by definition is something that must be included, that is obligatory, no other options. Such as marriage certificate. You can say “I recommend” but it is not “ among the requirements” for those others reading the thread and assembling your applications.

Okay I understand what you mean, like I said I may be wrong. It is included in the checklist of required evidence to proof a bonafide marriage and you can still make choices.

It's neither You are talking about a list of possible evidence that appears after the phrase, "In additional to the required. "  So by definition. NOT REQURED.

Pictures are great supporting evidence, but the best evidence of time spent together is solid proof like boarding passes and passport stamps. Our lawyer said that WhatsApp chat logs aren’t necessary. If you want to add them, you can, but 400 pages would be excessive and just not worth it since it’s not the kind of evidence they’re looking for anyway. Good luck! :)

The 400 pages is only to show the year long engagement period and speaking on a daily basis.

They are not going to read 400 pages or be impressed that you have/sent 400 pages.  Example of how and how frequently you communicate are good. Limit 20 pages.
