Change of Address

My husband and I have just purchased our first home. I filed my I-751 last month and have my biometrics appointment tomorrow. I want to know what experiences people on here have had with changing your address via the USCIS online method. I will need to change mine when we move in to our new house in 3 weeks and because my I-751 has been filed, I am feeling a little nervous about the whole thing. I have heard horror stories where the address change was not recorded but I would like to know what your experience has been. Thanks in advance :)

Congratulations on your new home! I had been avoiding to move until I was done with I-751, do you know who will live in your old address? maybe it would be a good idea to kindly ask them to keep any mail left over just in case.

We changed our address by mail, over the phone, and in person at an InfoPass appointment during the green card process. They STILL sent the green card to our old address. Luckily we had forwarded our mail and it arrived to us in the end.
