Is anyone else getting worried about their case taking so long? I filed for N400 via paper with NOA on October 18 2022, and my case still says it's being "actively processed." I also have my I-751 pending with the note "case updated to show fingerprints were taken." I am discouraged when I see so many others having received their notice to interview already. Could something be wrong with my application?

Hi!. There is not movement in Boston. Many of us are still waiting. My guess is that we will see some movement in October for the N400.

I’m Oct 17 filer(SF field office), just one day ahead of you and it’s being crickets for me too 😏 I’m not exactly worried about it though, I’m aware of the whole bunch of people who applied after me and already got their interviews, frustrating, yes…It seems to me that USCIS is randomly picking cases from every single month and some people just got luckier than us. The rest will have to wait. Anyhoo I checked on the website and the earliest they would accept an inquiry about the case from Oct is March, so hang tight there.
I’m only glad I have my 10y green card on hands

I'm relieved that others are on the same boat! Thank you to you and the other two folks that commented. Fingers crossed we get our papers soon.

It is 10/19/2023, and nothing, nada, niente. There is no movement in the N400 or the permanent green card application: 338 days and 659 days of madness.

As of today, November 1, 2023, we are:

374 days for N400 (Naturalization)

737 days for I751 (10-year green card)

People have been leapfrogging us across the country and it is NOT appreciated.  We are tired of the excuses.

Attorneys, Senator office... nobody is of any help whatsoever.

Though the timeline does look like it's taking a little longer for N-400, seems perfectly fine for I-751 in today's terms.

WoM?

After two years, I was finally approved for I751. However, the USCIS office in Boston declined to give me the N400 combo interview. Instead, they approved my I751 and informed me that they are still reviewing my case one year after submitting my application for N400. Grateful that I got my permanent residency, but still, there is this bittersweet feeling about how the officials in Boston and Vermont are treating us.

Congratulations! Boston office is so frustrating! I am glad that you are halfway there!
