VSC really slow to send out NOA?

VSC cashed our check on 6/29. We still haven't received any correspondance from them. Has anyone else filed recently? I was reading signatures and it seems VSCs turn around has usually been 2 weeks after cashing the check, and it's already been 3 weeks for us. Just wondering what others have been seeing recently.

05/09/05 Got CR-1 Visa (47 days @ Naples)

04/02/07 Expressed mailed in I-130

04/03/07 I-751 received at 1:08pm and signed for by Paul E. Novak Jr. Center Director (day 1)

05/02/07 Check finally clears my bank - appears to have been processed on 4/30 by VSC (day 30)

05/04/07 Received BLUE Finger Print Receipt Notification (day 32)

05/17/07 Received NOA1 dated 5/9/07(day 45)

05/18/07 Received ASC Appointment Notice dated 5/14/07 for June 1st (day 46)

06/01/07 Biometric Appointment today @ 2:00 (day 60)

06/03/07 "Touched" (day 62)

10/26/07 "Card Production Ordered" (217 days from the day the application received and 172 days from NOA1)

10/30/07 Touched again

10/31/07 Received Notice of Removal of Conditional Basis of Lawful Permanent Residence letter, signed by Paul E Novak Jr.

10/31/07 Touched again - if we get touched again does that count as harassment?

11/05/07 10 year green card arrives! (227 days)

US Citizen N-400

03/12/08 To be filed!

It took them 2 months for an NOA at the end of last year, so don't fret yet. :)

Met the ole man in January 1998

Jan. 2004: K1 visa issued ~ April 2004: Got on a plane ~ Nov. 2004: GC in my mucky hands ~ Dec. 2006: Received 10 YR GC

September 2008 - US passport delivered!

Our NOA arrived from VSC for myself and my daughter about 2 weeks after we filed and the Biometrics appt letter came a week after that. Bear in mind our applications were about as complete as anyone could hope and we had no weird issues with our application.

14Feb05 Married

21Mar05 Court gives permission to remove child to US

15Apr05 I-130 received by Embassy (London)

22Apr05 Got back all 'extra' docs I sent with I-130 saying 'not required'

25Apr05 Received postcard saying I-130 filed with DHS London - Yeh we're DCFing

19Apr05 I-130s filed with DHS London

26Apr05 Send DS-230 Pt1 and DS 2001 to Embassy - why wait for the Pkt3?

27Apr05 DS230 Pt1 and DS2001 received by Embassy

19May05 I-130 Approved by DHS (Form I-171)

26May05 DS-230 Pt1 and DS2001 processed by Consulate

31May05 Reply to email from Consulate telling us to book medical and that Ds230 processed last week

24June05 Medical at London

04Jun05 Pk4 from Embassy

19Jul05 INTERVIEW. PASSED !! BRILLIANT

17August05 On a plane to Newark and on to PA Whoopppeee!

Ugh. It's been a month since they cashed our check and still no NOA. Her green card expires in 2 weeks. I guess it's time for me to call the NSC and find out what the heck is going on...

I mailed on 7/7/07 and VSC received on 7/9/07. They cashed the check on 7/16/07. After that, nothing has happened. Long way to go... :unsure::unsure:

Conditional Green Card Process at Newark, NJ

Aug 02, 2004: NOA Notice Date

Aug 19, 2004: Biometrics in Hackensack

Oct 28, 2004: EAD approved

Nov 5, 2004: EAD card received

Nov 16, 2004: NJ driver's license renewed (good only for one year)

Oct 4, 2005: Had the interview and AOS approved!!

Oct 8, 2005: Welcome letter arrived

Oct 11, 2005: Green Card arrived & Case Status Service updated

Removing Conditions Process

July 7, 2007 Mailed I-751 application to VSC

Sep 6, 2007 Biometrics appointment letter received - Notice Date: 8/31/07

Sep 17, 2007 NOA extending GC for another year received - Notice Date: 7/30/07

Sep 28, 2007 Biometrics at Hackensack at 8:00 AM

May 15, 2008 Card production ordered
