Hi,

They asked me for my divorce papers, i'm not sure if it slipped my mind or they didn't ask for it in the instructions but oh well...

I just got this message and I have in hand the document they ask for and I want to submit it to them as soon as possible. But I don't know if i'm supposed to e-mail it, or re-Submit it where the financial documents submited on the NVC website.

Instructions only linked to a website that tells me about acceptable documents, no instructions about how or where to submit them.

EDIT: Do I have to translate the divorce and get it apostilled?

The I-130 instructions clearly ask for termination documents of all previous marriages.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

It's not the I-130 though, that one has been approved. I summited my divorce paper to them.

It's the following step with the NVC ( form I-184)

, when they asked me for my tax, finance an another form to fill out and sign. + the contract.

They only asked for divorce papers of the beneficiary no the petitioner since the petitioners divorce paper at that point have been submited.

So i'm confused now. Do I have to get my divorce translated and apostilled to re-Submit? or just a copy of it as it is originally. Even their own website provided talks about the beneficiary's divorce.

They even typed in the name of my Ex-Wife so they did look at the I-130 and I just redownloaded the same official divorce papers they accepted the form with.

For a spouse visa case, petitioner's divorce decree(s) must be uploaded to CEAC.  It is explicitly listed as a requirement here (check under "Petitioner Documents") -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-5-collect-financial-evidence-and-other-supporting-documents/step-7-collect-civil-documents.html
