 I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t think this was inevitable. Whether Ukraine, Russia, CIA, or a 4th actor did it, it had to happen eventually.  We should understand the specific motivation once we see the responses  from each and all concerned parties.

It's been planned for months now.  Biden himself promised to make it happen.

I was trying to think who would care, neither are in use.

 

I assume there are procedures to repair, 40ft sections so a few would need replacing.

 

The pipeline that confused me is the one crossing Ukraine, I assumed once hostilities started that would be the first to go but I do not think so.

According to this article early in the war, Russia was still paying Ukraine for the gas crossing.

 

My understanding is that, under international law, certain obligations aren't necessarily rendered void due to war. In fact, Eritrea and Ethiopia fought about this in the ICJ, with Ethiopia claiming Eritrea violated a ton of bilateral trade/tourism/infrastructure agreements during hostilities and demanded compensation. The ICJ threw it out because, well, how can you realistically expect any of those things to continue, but I presume because the EU is an additional party here, everyone agreed to just 'let it happen.'

Cracks me up how the media is claiming it was Putin.  You know, the dumb guy who is willing to blow up his own pipeline, right before the Baltic pipeline goes into operation, therefore killing a huge revenue stream for Russia.  

Yes, THAT theory makes sense.  Thank goodness we have the MSM to make it all clear.

You know how easily Democrats and those on the Left are gaslighted, so it is obvious the US could be behind this as a false flag tactic, blaming Russia.  I suspect at some point FB and Twitter will start banning anyone that does not toe the Biden narrative that the Russians blew up their own pipeline.

From someone who pays way more to politics and foreign affairs than I:

 

If US nukes UK, and blames it on Russia:
1. Truss is gone.
2. War machine starts up saving the British Pound.
3. Kills many to satisfy Klaus.
4. Allows US to declare war via Article 5, and cancel midterms.
So many things solved with 1 simple bomb.
