That's a terrific chart. It is from a site or a home-made recap from USCIS quarterly reports?

quarterly data then adding a formula from deficit = quartly receipts - completed and chatting the results

How can he move to the USA in the interim? Isn't he limited to 90 days at a time under ESTA?

K1 makes a bit more sense when the immigrant fiancee is from a developing country and can't easily visit the USA and has low earning prospects in the USA or just plans to be a housewife or has a crappy living situation in his/her own country.

He is the USC, when I say move here I mean him come to the U.K. (not on a permanent basis).

I filed in May for my fiance. I believe those in my situation will go at least 15 months. So I go back to the Philippines and visit my soon to be family, (she has a daughter I will adopt). I'm leaving on November 30 and will stay for 45 days. I would rather visit there, then wait for 15 months or longer to hopefully see them. The money i spend is worth every dime.

Because if the CR1 process is faster than 3 years then it might be worth abandoning the K1 progress so far so I’m worried we’ve made the wrong choice. We travel to eachother as much as possible and we’re very very lucky in that we see each other every 12 weeks or so, we’ve known eachother 17 years and have been together for 7 so there isn’t a lot of getting to know eachother left to do in the meantime ha! Just wish we’d started the whole thing sooner but circumstances were very different pre covid.

The truth is no one knows. Right now, CR1s are faster, however, USCIS is hiring quickly and we should see backlogs easing over the next year.  Most embassies are improving their backlog, and I don't believe the UK has significant waits.  Our NOA2 took 16 months, well past the 5-7 months quoted when we started.  Had we know the actual duration, we would have made very different decisions (such as staying in Italy together for several more months).  Unfortunately, we were at 11 months before USCIS actually started correcting the estimated wait time.  Fortunately, you and your F will be able to visit via ESTA.  Many couples from other countries cannot easily.  We were fortunate to be able to visit here in the US  3 times for a month or more at a time.

The last year was very hard on our family, and unfortunately, you cannot do anything to speed up the process with K1 or CR1. So, knowing the long list of possible unknowns, make the decision that is best for you and your F.  I wish you both the very best!

My partner and I just sent away our i-129f and got our NOA1 in August. I have been seeing people concerned about the backlog from COVID and expecting delays for up to two years. Should I be worried; should I be discouraged? I was not sure if this is only for specific countries or embassies, but if you possibly know he is from the UK. Let me know anything that you know!

hang in their brother were all in the same boat. some longer than others. but non the less were here. use the time waiting to strengthen your knowledge on the up an coming visa process.. the k1 is only the 1st step of many. so keep the faith an use your time wisely here.

You are the only one in this journey, we filed ours since 2021 of Feb. and got our NOA1 2021 of Nov. Received an RFE we responded and we got an email says they received it 2022 of Jan. up until now we haven't received anything since then.
Me and my fiancee we keep inquiring about our case and they keep giving us 45 days, 60 days, another 45 days and 60 days.
It's frustrating but all we can do is wait patiently

Still hopeful if we all can hear any good news sometime soon
