Arizona woman arrested for alleged human smuggling of migrants: police

Police stopped the vehicle and arrested suspected human smuggler Tania Estudillo Hernandez, 24, who was allegedly transporting a Guatemalan national.

 

Investigators said they determined during the probe that 80 to 100 immigrants in the country illegally were held or processed in the home monthly for at least the past six months and were charged as much as $15,000 in smuggling fees.

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

Jiminy, I wish he'd give me, my new LPR spouse and daughter a free trip to Martha's Vineyard.....my wife's still hoping for an ObamaPhone....I told her not to hold her breath, she did it legally.

Back when the [censored] Guayaquil consulate was hosing us, I observed to Mrs.-T-B.-to-be that, if she were an illegal Mexican, she'd be here already and be on top of the world.  She agreed, without comment.  This is even truer today.
