You CAN work on it prior to the I 129f, but there's really no need to do so. Its not needed until the interview of the foreign fiance/e at the overseas consulate, so you'll have a few months to get it ready after you file the I 129f petition and are awaiting its approval.

You get the co-sponsor to fill out a full copy of the I-134.

esmergar,

It would be clearer to you if you stopped using the term "co-sponsor".

Who ever is going to sponsor an alien for a K visa submits a financial package showing that they have sufficient financial resources to assure that the alien will not become a public charge while in the USA. Such financial package typically includes an I-134, filled out by the sponsor, along with other financial information about the sponsor.

You do not have to be the sponsor. And if you do not have sufficient financial resources you cannot be the sponsor.

Yodrak,

This does vary from Consulate to Consulate. Somebody can correct me but I don't believe the PI accepts more than one sponsor for K1 visas and they make it difficult for that sponsor to be other than the petitioner. China, on the other hand, requires financials from the petitioner, whether they qualify as the sponsor or not, so when they don't, two financial packages are required. (again, usually the I-134 and supporting docs.)
