I-485, Part6, Information About Your Children

Hello K1-to-AOS filers,

I'm asking for a friend who is filling out the I-485.

She is a foreign beneficiary arriving to the US on a K1 and recently got married to a US Citizen.

She has no children, but the US Citizen spouse has 2 children with US Citizenship.

For I-485, Part6, Information About Your Children, it should be filled out from the perspective of the foreign spouse?

Should the foreign spouse list 0 or 2?

Thanks in advance for any response.

As she is married and her spouse has 2 children .. she now has 2 step children. Clear in the instructions .. read literally. Don't overthink.. if the instructions don't say “unless……. ” then there are no exceptions

All of I-485 is from the perspective of the foreign spouse. It’s their petition.
