Hmm, seems Old Joe's political rhetoric is leading to deadly violence.  Why doesn't he get called out for it by the regular actors?  Not sure of the laws in ND, but seems like this was a little more serious than vehicular homicide.

The North Dakota man accused of killing a teenager with his car following a "political argument" said he didn't understand the charges against him during a recent court appearance.

 

Shannon Brandt, 41, spent just days in a Stutsman County Jail on criminal charges related to the death of 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson before he posted his $50,000 bond and was released, according to county jail records.

 

He is charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident.

I’ve read stories about this incident and was perplexed why a woke in North Dakota of all places would triggered by a right winger. The callousness of the killer’s reaction in court sadly didn’t surprise me.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
