Psoft I am looking for a roti maker. I found one online and will probably purchase it. Thanks.

Shonnie I was cheating and using the tortillas and they were fine then he said I want real rotti. So we bought flour and first attempt this am. We ended up with something like Pratha? Sorry for spelling.

Think it is great if guys can cook. Everyone should be able to do something to survive.

You are right Houston Ramadan is the best; perhaps we have very good Muharram as well. In my opinion Chicago is good place to live. Why you want to move any specific reason? If your family (mom, pop and siblings) are in Chicago then forget about to move anywhere. Most important thing is family.

Wow some nice discussions here while I was sleeping half on my bed and half on the floor. :D

psoft i m in your boat. I have been cookng for over 7 years. I can cook really good. Specially biryanai, hafiz sahab!!!!!!!!!. Infact My brother-in-law says i cook better than any of the women in family. But once I am there in Pakistan, I forget all the cooking. Once my wife, my mom and all sisters insisted I show them some of my cooking, I made biryani and intentionally threw a lot of water in that, so it became a paste. You know why I did it? If u cook good for your wife, and she likes it, then, everyday, you will end up hearing "Jaan aaj zara sar mai dard hai, please kuchh bana do ya bahar say lay aao"

Hafiz paa jee, even though main Hyderabad, Sindh toon aan main changi, balli panjabi bol sakna waan, so jab tuwadda dil kare panjabi bolan waste, mai itte ee waan.

babybunny, you should be proud to be married to your Bingo. Also, he should be proud to have u as well. Like I am prooud have my shoni, as my wife. In fact, I call it an achievement, cuz we fell in love in 1997 as teens and lived on two sides of the planet for years , yet our love never weakend a single day, and it grew alottttt once she came to my home in that beautiful red dress. janaab when a person come into this world he is sinless, but when he leaves this world, there are 2 categories. ya to wo jannatee ban ke jata hai, ya phir fajir/kafir ke register may shamil hojata hai.

so here are some shairs regarding that:

Aye thay kis kam ko keya kar chalay

Tuhmatain chand apnay sar par dhar chalay

Wahana say parcha be na lai sat may

yahanan say samjanay ko daftar lay chalay.

My friend card doesn’t work for you. Try to use www.click2dial.net and get unlimited call from Pakistan on your home or cell phone is real cheap $35 per month and receive as many call you want. Your wife will pay only for local calls.

Hey Imran...have you used this click2dial?? I have just signed up for it and wanted to know if its good or not.....I know I should have asked before I signed up and paid...but....

salams all,

Omid's not my name - means hope in farsi, just turned 28, practicing attorney (not immigration ;) employment/labor), waiting for my SO so we can begin our lives together insha'Allah, I use Pingo.com to make my calls to Afghanistan - keeps a record of calls, lived in Dallas area for almost 8 yrs, sis met her Paki husband and married there.....

Shon - Afgh or Pak, close enough... my guy hears the same ####### - why so long? why do others get their visas, blah, blah, blah, some i'm sure even question my role in "delaying" the case - as if it was up to me, ha! Bottom line, keep the communication going strong between the two of you and hopefully Javed will be able to just tune them all out...

SL - I tried PM'ing you but your box is full...

Michigan - are you gonna keep us in suspense or are you gonna share some of your newfound info on security checks?

Hope all are doing well and insha'Allah we'll hear good news this week! (F)
