Hey everyone!!

Sorry I don't post as often....just been really busy lately. I have some minor good news, ISL recieved husban'ds p3 and will send an interview date soon...InshaAllah!

quick question....my brother in law plans to marry in july to a USC.....he plans to do k1 or k3 i forget which one....how long is it taking to process these for people going thru ISL? Our lawyer keeps saying they will be together in no more than 4 months? is that possible?

help me clear things up!!!

InshaAllah everyone u r in my prayers, and congrats US1415 on the new baby girl, MashAllah!!

Right now: Trying to get out from crazy lawyer uncles control and find happiness with my husband!

Hello Freeni,

Congratulations on packet 3 and hope to hear your interview is scheduled soon.

Your bil must be going to file the K3 which is the marriage visa. The K1 is for fiance only. I hate to say this but I filed a K3 at the same time as my CR 1 in January and it was not at the embassy until end of July. Shon filed K3 and it is still on hold and has not been issued she is going the CR1 now. A few others have done the K3 and still not finished they are on AR/AP status.

So I know of three of four and we are all over 1 year since filing for the K3 and still not reunited. You must stress to the bil that it is long journey no matter which visa he pursues. MO did the K1 and he was on AR for 7 months after his interview. Cindishah has been at this for long time years on her K1 that just got approved. Tell them to expect long processing and to pray for strength and patience in this process.

Good luck and keep us updated on your journey.

Mary

My husband got a letter from the Embassy today:

We are ready to continue the processing of your immigrant Visa. Please come any working day 10am to 12pm.

They want him to bring his new/old passports

and Printout versions of all chat sessions and emails

I guess my Satruday will be spent printing the last 18 months worth of daily chats! I was at the interview in person, I brought emails, chats, cards, they did not want any - but now they want him to go to ISL to present these things... [happy thoughts ... happy thoughts ...]

Did anyone else get this? I just called the DOS 4 days ago and the case was still pending??? I dont get it!

Laney he did not have field investigation did he? And we have not had any updates on our status. I called DOS yesterday and they said at embassy level since his interview with no new notes. I do not keep our chats I guess I will have to start from today on out. I had a box full in the bedroom from about one year ago. Gheez. How much more complicated can this get? Mian was interviewed by the male English CO the first time. Do you know if you husband was interviewed in his native language or in English by whom?

Good luck. I really had hoped you would post it is being issued now. Hang in there. Hugs.

Mary

OH good grief Laney.. those Jokers..***&^

tell them you are on a k-3, USCIS will have plenty of time in the states to question the meshing or married life as AoS will be processed here.. good grief ,you have been with him in Pakistan how many times ?? 2 or 3? tell them that DOS said security checks are complete, If all is fine, then just give the visa stamp...Update the senator on this current request from Isl. have his/her liason send in the fax or email support this week, before he heads down for another interview.. even if he interviews you will have all your current chat records, of etc, and history of updtaed pictures, Inshallah all will be fine, sounds like it will be, ISL just likes to put up road blocks and red flags, ..If it is another interview/ co , he/she can order another check, try to block this as much as you can..or even call them and tell them that it seems to you they are being way prejudical and inhumane ( )

good luck (F)

Good luck Laney- I pray this is the end of this HELLISH Process. for my husband and my interview they looked at chat records, mostly to see if we had them. here is a tip.. my husband keeps all my e mail in one file online. he printed top page that listed all the emails. they never said nothing more. about wanting to read the contents.

You guys have such great ideas!! I will try both.

Hopefully the idea of me telling them I would be happy to fax 475 pages of random, lovey dovey, I miss you IM's will scare them into just sending the dayum visa via TCS!

I'm emailing the Embassy now, and Nas is booking plane tix in the morning. I hope they give us good news!!
