Revived we need to kick some b*%, dont know whose, but im tired of this waiting and i know you are really tired of it. Obama has a liaison dept at the whitehouse website to summit comments, he is encouraging comments on how our government can work for us. i think we should blast them with comments on this AP ####### .He did say he wanted to fix the broken immigration system on his website. But im sure we are not his first priority

not silly at all! It is the little things that get you through the a/p period. I'm sure I organized my closets, kitchen and basement 12 times while I waited ,,,, just to pass the time!

Guys I have some exciting news that i just cant hold in. No we didnt get the visa yet but i upgraded the memory in my computer and it is working superb !!!! I cant believe what a difference it makes . I should have done it a long time ago . Ok, just thought i would share it with u all cuz im excited about it. I know , Im silly.

Already did that too. LOL. OMG will this ever end. The Dos did tell me today our case was worked on recently. I felt like saying well they havent worked on it enough, but i was nice It gets harder by the day to be nice though.

Take your journeys one day at a time. Each case is different and realize though that you may have to endure AP and that is all you can do is try and be prepared for it. This forum has a lot of supportive persons on here some in AP, some that have been there and just come back to offer advice or check on the progress of those that are dealing with AP.

Good luck to both of you and try not to stress out too much about the AP for now. If you realize it may happen it helps when the day of the interview and you get the 221(g). If you are not prepared it is much harder to accept.

Mary, I had my brother send the I-751 for my wife by first class mail on the 16th of Jan. It should had arrived to them by Tuesday Jan. 20, as Monday, Jan, 19 was a holiday.

The problem is he never got delivery confirmation for it, and the $545 was a cashier's check. I cannot see when it is cashed.

I still as of yet have not received any NOA1. On the same day, he sent the application and check for my daughter's visa to NY. (which was also sent by First Class Mail) We have already received the visa for her and are still waiting for my wife's NOA.

Should I still wait or do something? What do you think?

It is taking at least two weeks or longer to get a NOA from VSC if you filed there. All you can do is try and give it a little more time and hopefully you will get your NOA then. It will be hard to track it with a cashiers check and remember once it is cashed you will not be able to track it until after your wife get's her BIO notice it will have a different number than the NOA.

It is taking at least two weeks or longer to get a NOA from VSC if you filed there. All you can do is try and give it a little more time and hopefully you will get your NOA then. It will be hard to track it with a cashiers check and remember once it is cashed you will not be able to track it until after your wife get's her BIO notice it will have a different number than the NOA.

The problem is I sent it from AZ to CA, not to Vermont. It should had arrived to them by Tuesday Jan. 20, as Monday, Jan, 19 was a holiday.

I can't even track to see if the cashier's check is cashed. Any phone number I can call to see if they received it? There is no possible way to track.

so guys, my case is at Islamabad embassy. I sent an email to Islamabad asking what is going on with my case. NO RESPONSE. can someone tell me how long should I wait before they contact me or my fiance? or I need to contact them? I am lost. Don't know how long more it's going to take.

As salam u alaikum how r u ,I just Called to Embassy right now and Automatic Computer Operator said we got more calls about information of Immigrant or Non immigrant Visas so please u better check our sites for more details and Operators were Busy and they gave me Website http://travel.state.gov/.

Can anyone PM me with the correct number and way for him to call? Thank you!

Give it a little more time Adil since CSC seems to be working. I do not know whom you would contact right now since it is is in a mail room and it can take a few weeks for them to get NOA's sent out.

Your case was completed really recently. Once a case completes there are two steps involved. First one is an electronic transmittal is sent out to Islamabad telling them that your case is coming and be ready to match it later. The hard copy is then sent out DHL or sometimes another courier and it has to be matched page for page with the electronic copy. Once this is done the embassy shows your case there and pending. The staff will then send out the packet to the petitioner. Give it a little more time from reading your profile since the hard copy could still be enroute to the embasy.
