Calling everyone going thru Islamabad Embassy, version 2.0

Once again, the Islamabad Embassy has boggled my mind. I sent them an email (because they don't answer ANY of Waheed's emails) asking if they received the requested information that Waheed had sent to them ... The Embassy response :

"Our record indicates that the case is still pending under administrative process and we will contact the applicant(s) upon completion of this process. Also, time duration for the process is always approximated therefore maximum cannot be predicted."

NICE... but that was NOT the question !!!

So I called DOS yesterday and she told me that the Embassy did receive the information and they are reviewing it.

I am so thankful that we do not have to solely depend on the Embassy to answer our questions.

peace

Well i hope everything will be ok.

Best of luck for u both. And plz also pray for me!

at least they r kind enuff to respond to u both..

we r on our 13th mon of AP and they dun respond to me at all anymore ...

Yesterday is history, Tomorrow's a mystery. Today is a gift; that'swhy they call it "the present".

Dear brother revived!

They r not kind actually, we have patience to stick with the phone and call them again and again.

I have a suggestion for u which is that u should call DOS on every wednesday and thursday. You should pursue ur case it won't speed up the process but inshaAllah one day you will hear from them that your case is complete.

So brother dont give up.

Hi Revived

I agree with SIBTAIN. Writing the Embassy is a complete waste of time and calling them is a complete waste of time and money. They don't answer the d*** phone and when they do, they put us on hold forever only to hang up without even speaking to us. Then when we send emails they cut and paste the AP response without even reading the question. I think DOS is much more helpful. You may not get as much as information as you would like, depending on who you talk to, but at least they answer the d*** phone.

Our prayers go out to all of you stuck in this horrible process and we thank you for being here to understand our frustrations. The support and knowledge we have received from all of you is soooooo appreciated. :star:

peace
