Hello Dr N.,

I sure hope that all the ones on AR/AP are reunited soon with their loved ones.

Amen!

Dr. N , may Allah SWT make this period easy for you and ur spouse!

Salam Revived,

I'll keep you and everyone else in my prayers as well. Best wishes

Mary,

I know you've been around for a while, how many cases of female AP/AR have you seen? Any idea what triggers an AP/AR for females? What's the average time for this AP?

Thank you for your help... I've combed through the FBI site too, you're doing great there!

is there any girl in here whose on AP?!?!?!?!

Yes, Dr. N wife

Two ladies Khan last name.

On FBI site: AR19832008 wife now 13-14 months on AP. Maybe a few more but mainly males.

i know there are so many guys on ap.. i feel so bad and i hope it gets over soon

i will be having my interview in jan

hopefully

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THEY ALSO PUT FEMALES ON AP?!

Yes, ladies get AP but it usually a few weeks but in a few cases they do get stuck in AP. Go to your interview and just do not make travel plans until you have the visa in hand.

duas,

Well, I sure hope they can. The USC spouse in our case will be with me at the embassy inshAllah... I am pretty sure they don't allow the USC to be at the interview window. I've read anecdotes here on VJ, where the USC accompanied their beneficiary... (sometimes even their kid(s))...

Okay, I am just going crazy!

Someone here said it doesn't matter if you've lived in the Middle East... that you've seen cases on VJ like that, who had lived in/visited countries in the Middle East but still got their visas without AP (female beneficiary)...

Who said this? And how do you know?

Please, oh please, elaborate, I'll go crazy before the damn interview itself!

calm down =) u will b fine, go to your interview w/positive attitude=) i'A all will b fine and good.. dun over think this whole thing b4 hand .. culd negatively impact your interview performance=) At this point i would advise you to just focus on INTERVIEW.. which is not easy=) so sisteh prepare for the interview...=) and at the present time forget about the name check and think positive=) cuz truth is mostly females r not put on AP.. even if they r 99% of the time they clear w/in months.. except some rare cases like Dr. N

i say i'A u will get ur visa.. b easy on urself and focus on your interview .. all will b good

loads of duas=)

Mary,

I know you've been around for a while, how many cases of female AP/AR have you seen? Any idea what triggers an AP/AR for females? What's the average time for this AP?

Thank you for your help... I've combed through the FBI site too, you're doing great there!

I wish I knew the answers for AR/AP and can only tell you that if a lady gets it and is stuck for a long period of time it is rare. Most ladies clear within weeks other than the few cases I mentioned earlier. KHAN seems to be a problem with the ladies and they seem to have to endure longer waits. Dr. N and the other gentlemen on FBI are the longest AP I have seen on ladies and the other cases that were not resolved in a few weeks were approved within 3 months on the longest average.

Traveling, education background or job field, as well as common names seem to be the most common AR/AP for ladies. In a few cases if arranged marriages between several family members can also cause AR/AP. It they think the marriage is for money and fraud they can hold the case for further checks.

correct me if i m wrong, your USC spouse/finace could go into the embassy w/you ... i dunno if they allow them to b present @ the interview window.

USC can attend and depending on the interviewer he/she may talk to them or ask them to sit and wait nearby. Just depends on who is doing the interview.

Sisters and Brothers all I can truly say is to go to the interview and hope and pray for the best. I always stress to think about getting AR/AP since my husband and I were devastated at the time when he got it. At that time no one discussed it and that is when I started researching and becoming vocal about it. I would rather have the thought that I might not get my visa that day and this or that could occur than to have plans made and having to cancel them and then worry about what I did wrong to cause my case to be scrutinized more closely. Pray for patience and understanding, and this was our motto while in AP. "Allah will grant us the visa in HIS time and not OUR time.

I check in here at least daily and wish all of you reunited together and do not wish anyone the stress of AR/AP.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

I have submitted today the missing orignal document,my passport and as well as Application ,letter of my wife & doctor's letters to AEMX.

I have sent my passport as CO told me that i could send them my passport with missing document.

AMEX again charged Rs.1000 for passport.

I wrote the application to American Consular Officer regarding the emergency and letter of my wife and doctors report in which they can again clearly see that how much pain we are in.

I hope they will listen to me and will reply me as soon as.
