My husband got the call to send his visa 2 days before i was leaving for Pakistan. He sent it out on the 4th of November , the day i left for Pakistan. We are still waiting. I have to say I was quite surprised I expected to wait for another year for ap to finish. We waited alittle over 2 months for ap to finish . So now we are stuck here in Pakistan waiting for the infamous call from amex.

they have checked everything and then we get stuck on AP

i mean common

am waiting for my interview date and then iw ill start worrying abt AP even though am a female but who knows abt these ppl u know what i mean

For those of you that have emailed the embassy, how long do they usually take to reply your email?

Some time Same day SOme time after One week depend on them mood..

Pray to Allah mood is good then u may recv Ur answer same day hehehe

but i m serious i got my answer same day even in three hours........from ISlamabad

and From NVC i got my answer in 8 days standerd time..

I was reading that AP has different types may b not too many but AP has.

So my question is that to keep in view islamabad US embassy which types of AP are taking much time and which one AP is taking less time?

One more question is that CO put on AP coz of missing document and he also told me that i can send them my passport with missing document and it can take minimum 6 weeks, So do you guys hav seen that AP could be over before six weeks?

And if yes what would be the average of that kind of the cases which has received thier visas before 6 weeks>

with no missing docs we were told it wuld b 6 weeks! and guess what? it has been an yr almost.. i m sure urs wont' take as long=) God knows what AP is .... and wht cheks r requested... =) i've just giveup on research.. wht good it wuld do???

it depends on ur Q.. if u r an AP asking for update.. guess what most likely u won't get a reply... umight if u bug them a lil too much but it wuld b a standard reply.. plz dun email us if u r in AP bla bla ...

earlier i've asked for other info, and i rec'vd a quick response.. so i guess it depends on ur Q.

Well we emailed them regarding our interview date and also about the police report. The thing is the interview letter says to bring the originial police report but we had already submitted the original to NVC. So, wanted to ask them and make sure if we should get another made or not. Well, i didnt get a reply from them today so hopefully by tomorrow. I emailed that PakIVQuery email address, is that one fine?

My K3 interview is next monday (on the 24th). Can someone tell me which queue I should stand in : Immigration or Non-immigrant?

Also, if the bus leaves at 7 am from the convention centre for the embassy, how early should I arrive?

[K1 & K3 both are non immigrant visas,Yes so u will have to stand in Non immigrant line.

You should reach at convention center at 6am.
