ok this is really making me worried.

my nvc is gonna start from 1st nov.. my husband has sponsered me and its i130

do u get interview dates over the phone?! or what happens now?

u guys think i will be done by dec?

should i call them and ask nvc to set up an interview date for me?

how long usually it takes to get the interview date?

If you would please fill in your timeline that would help alot

okay has your I130 been approved already by uscis? If it has then it will go to NVC and from there it will be generated a case #ISL

then after that it will start the NVC process and I am not really sure how long it is taking now from start to finish at nvc. I know that ours took from March till May to get completed. Then we were assigned an interview date in June but it was for the month of July.

Also you don't have to ask nvc to set up an interview date for you. they will do that once they have everything that they ask from you and your husband. Once that is done then THEY will set you up an interview. My advice would be to check out some of our timelines that are CR1/IR1 and that could give you some indication oh how long the process is taking.

Okay the interview date.......like I said above......Our case was completed in may........June we were scheduled an interview date......July 31st was the interview. Oh and don't forget about the AP cause that could take awhile too........

ur AP is done , and u sent ur passport in for visa right?

From what I have seen ....all the AP cases are for name check clearances. Which I thought that was what AP was for anyways??

So has your hubby heard anything lately? Have you called DOS and what have they said??

Just hang in there...I know how it is and can be. I am so very impatient and I have been driving my husband and family crazy with it all.

More and more people are reporting their wives on AP on this thread which is beginning to get to me!

We spent a year and a half on my husband's background check at the USCIS level (even though he is a US citizen) and from the looks of it, they'll be throwing me into that black hole too after the interview. I spent the better part of my life in the middle east and I am pretty sure that's reason enough for them to delay my AP forever.

Is there any woman out there who was done with her AP within a few months? Or was lucky enough never to go to that hole?

you need to tell me what is going on with your case , please tell me briefly so i can give u some good suggestion regarding to your case , if u have filed for one case and your husband is gone through one interview , why would u guys file for another case , the result is going to be same until u dont slove case no 1 , u filed , so please tell me briefly about your case ,

explain , case , category is it CR1 , IR1 , K3 , K1 which one

what is the out come of interview ?

what is indeed written of the paper he got after his interview ?

Thank u so much chaingang bhai i emailed u i hope u received my email , And i wana thank u from the bottom of my heart cuz my hubby got his passport back v followed ur advice he went to the embasyy got his passport n his birth certificate back , i have more question what will he need now when they call him for his interview soon inshalah k130, since i relfiled as spouse n they told him they will close his old case which was already dead case for past 3 yrs by giving back his passport v dont care since my biggest worry was getting his passport back b4 his interview so today he got it back thank u so much .for all ur support duaas n advice thank u again .

I don't know why they put on AP, but it lasted only 74 days and i got the call from embassy to submit the passport and visa is ready... since then i haven't heard back

the latest i heard is its still pending AP and last update was in sept dont know what that means... this is wat DOS told me today...

ahhh.. its so frustrating.. im thinking it can be over any day now.. like chris told me about 2 weeks from DOS, seems like i am in last 30 days of AP.. how he knowS? i have noo idea... but brought me hope....i hope he is right and is able to see something to have told me that....

You will have to wire the money thur Western Union to your SO so that they can make payment.
