Calling everyone going thru Islamabad Embassy, version 2.0

inshAllah he will get his visa v soon, may He be united w/you n family this comin' Eid ~Ameen

I think Aisha has given a good advice=) call and ask what exactly they mean by 'review'.. i won't b surprised that each time u call DOS they will have a different answer. I would think ISL has the most accurate answer, cuz it is them who will b doin the final processings. If they say it is still under AP then, you 've nothin' else to do but call DOS/ISL every week or so for an update.

If you are in US , calling DOS is easier ( i feel) ISL lines are busy constantly and their hours are v limited. Thus i think ppl prefer calling DOS.

inshallah u know its hard and expinsive to call islamabad embassy you know line r busy when i was in pak i tried to call but my call always droped but im in the united state right now with my family execpt my older brother(love him too much)

If you dont' mind me asking........but what airline did she take?? I have started looking and so far for a 1 way ticket to Chicago, IL is like 756 bucks. ((not bad )) and also,,,,,,,,,,,,,how much luggage did she bring with her?? sorry for all the questions.....just curious!!!

Have your Brother call ISL since he is in Pakistan, y r u calling isl??

We can't do much w/AP except wait and wait; it's said to say but the truth is it is 'unpredictable=) best way to deal w/this is by embracing 'patience'... that is what I have done for past 9 mons + =)

no he did not call the islamabad emabssy ....today(monday) i called the dos same news "still in a/p "yes ur right v can only do is wait ....may i ask u about ur case i mean who is on the a/p you or ur fiance or husband .take care of ur self and have a wonderful day

FYI: Today, I called DOS ya know........just to see if ISL embassy said anything about getting my husbands passport ya know.

Well, I talked to this really nice girl and she was like " Still under AP" and I was like hmmm.......

So, I told her what was done last week and she was like " oh let me read on into the notes"

Then she was like " OH yes.....I do see where they asked for passport and they did receive it, but that is all I can see in the notes" Cause I asked her if she could see if they have already sent passport back to my husband and she was like no, it all depends on who is putting notes in at the embassy and if that info is put into the notes from there.

So, the reason I am telling you this is because.........MAKE SURE YOU ASK THEM TO READ ALL THE NOTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not just saying " Well your still on AP"

because like I said...My husband got a call to send passport and I had called DOS last week and confirmed that as well.

today i tell my older brother that u should call the embassy for the update bcoz as aisah said about dos

his husband passport in the embassy for the visa and dos said he is stil in a/p

my little sister when she come here in the united state she was under 18 and now she is atomatic US citizen now she is 18 year 8 months old and she had a US passport with her now

is she can sponce our mom who is right now in pakistan i man can she file for our mother ..... or there is a Age Requirement for the Petitioner? thanks in advance
