Hi ..its been along time since I have answered questions relating to this visa stuff. if you want to ask a question I will try my best to point you in the right direction. I will give you a quick brife of our case.

we had been on AP for like 3 1/2 years. we have been throught everything the USCIS can put a person under, I finally gave up the whole thing. I am here to offer support and encouragement.

hey guys im very worried now i actually talk to a friend of my friend who applied for k1 visa also and after 6months of waiting his finance had her interview in the interview gori interviewer asked her at end of interview "have you been niked (nikha) yet, fiancé answered NO! (Which is true) then the interviewer said it is very unusual for an unmarried Pakistani girl to be sent to USA with a man without been niked or married, so for that reason case is denied and go back and file for K3 visa.

Does anyone know of any cases like this and how to answer that question, also are there any site where there are list of questions they ask at interview.

Please help im very very worried now.

Although its been quite some time since I updated any information but here are a list of interviews from islamabad.....you can find the link in my sig

Hi Everyone!

:star: Happy Independence Day :star:

I want to know when does one Pay American Express for the passport delivery for an Immigrant Visa?

Does one Pay before the interview like how the medical is done or is the payment made at the Embassy on the day of the interview after the Visa is Approved?

Can anyone with prior experience write about this. Note: Information needed about the Immigrant Visa.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Pakistan Zindabad!

Sara.

Hello everybody my husband had his medical in islamabad yesterday. Everything went fine except he had to wait so long. He got there at 9:30 and didnt leave till 2:30.

When he got there he filled out a form. Then he payed the fee. Then they took x-rays and blood. Then he got examined by a woman doctor. Then he had to wait a long time for his 3 shots.

He said there was mostly Afghani men there about 20. Only about 7 or 8 pakistani men. Some woman also. Hopefully he can pick up his results tomorrow and head home.

Does anybody know if your not suppose to open the evelope with results of tests?

I just want to update everyone that my wife had her interview on July 31, and she received her visa on Aug 11 in Karachi.

The interview was done by a black American guy who mostly verified the information, and asked only two question.

When did you get married?

How long have you been married?

Also, asked to see the wedding pictures.

Information he verified was

Is your name this XYZ

Is your husband name XYZ

There was no fee charged for the fingerprints. she was at the embassy at 6:30, and was done with everything by 12:00 PM.

Good luck all!

Want to share a good news

Hey all! I wanted to share a good news with all of you. My wife had her interview this morning and got her visa. She was given a pink slip. The counselor only asked her few questions:

1. what is your husbands name

2. where does he live in usa.

3. do you have an updated character certificate (police certificate) because the old one expired. She had a new one so had no problem.

4. Is this the first marriage for both you and you husband, and were not married before.

They did not request any further documents and congratulated her on getting her visa. They told her she would receive a call from the courier service to pick up her passport in one week.

Thank you all for all your support during this time. I wish everyone good luck on their upcoming interviews and hope that all get their visa soon who are on AP.

Best of luck all
