Hi ..its been along time since I have answered questions relating to this visa stuff. if you want to ask a question I will try my best to point you in the right direction. I will give you a quick brife of our case.

we had been on AP for like 3 1/2 years. we have been throught everything the USCIS can put a person under, I finally gave up the whole thing. I am here to offer support and encouragement.

3 1/2 years on AP. I m really sorry to hear that. So much for democracy by keeping families apart.

:cry::cry: I just want to report that Qasim didn't get his visa .........:cry::cry:

Right now, Is not a good time for me to explain, but insha allaah I will be back to let everyone know what happened. My husband and I are very uset right now and looking into what steps to take next.

I just want to thank everybody for their support and I will need it more than ever now.

The only thing that I can give you now is that ......he was interviewed all the day long......at least 4-5 times. Also, I don't have the papers yet that was given to him, but once I do have and look over them.......then I will post more.

Thanks

are there any site where there are list of questions they ask at interview.

http://www.***removed***/visas/kvisa/sample...-questions.html

If you r goin' for K-1, the main focus will be PICTURES!! and PICTURES!! My fiance wasn't asked for any other proof. but again it varies from case to case. This other girl i talked w/ said she was asked what color car her fiance drives, honeymoon plans, etc. so be prepared

good lucks

I seriously unable to believe that. How did this happen? Don't worry things happen for a reason and if one door is closed at you more will be opened. Just keep hanging in and keep your spirits high........Consult with an attorney or even hire one......Keep us posted with what was the reason for denying the visa......

salaam to all,

Okay, I am a bit more composed now than alot earlier. I have talked to my husband in full detail and he scanned and sent me the papers that he was given. Okay this is what it says.........

We got a 221g documentation pending........

There are 2 documents that ..are needed to be resubmitted.

Our co-sponsor is my Grandfather and he does have enough to sponsor, but for some reason, it's not good enough for the CO that interviewed Qasim. I have to again go ahead and do another I-864 and get that sent out again.

Secondly..... my husband was married before and they said that his divorce decree does not """conform to Pakistani law"" My husbands eldest bro is a lawyer and it was done according to the Pakistani Law with his bro's help. Qasim again asked his bro, once home from embassy about the papers and he was like YES they are of Pakistan Law. IDK what they want from us??

Also, of course we knew there would be AP and Qasim was told that would take a min of 6 wks. That was no surprise.

Okay guys get this >>>

the CO asked Qasim>> Why don't you live with your wife ?? ((Umm duhh what do you think we are trying to do here ))

 Why don't you live in another country with your wife?? WTH??

The only other questions about our relationship was >>> how did we meet? , where did you marry? Why does your mom live there? and do we talk? ( of course everyday on phone and computer) but the rest of the questions......were about his first wife *sighs*

Right now, I'm really tired and I hope you can make heads or tails of this post........if not............sorry. I am just emotionally and mentally exhausted right now.

Anybody else that has been in this situation?? Please help!!!!!!!

Allaah Hafiz

Aisha,

In this difficult time, I can assure you that I did pray for you and will continue to do so. I am glad though that you have gotten more details on the case and I am sure things are slightly clearer to you. I hope everything goes well. Stay strong girl...all Aishas I know are strong and resourceful women. Do not worry.

Well, my wife just finished with her interview for the I-130...

She was told congratulations you've got a visa but it's going through administrative processing, in approximately 6 weeks you'll have to send us your passport and within a week we'll return it to you with the visa.

But the gave her a letter saying that it was temporarily denied?

Help...I don't understand what's going on... :(
