Can anyone please tell me how the interviews are going in Pakistan? Are they tough in the interviews??

I have filed for K3 visa for my husband. We are actually first cousins. So my question is: in the interview when they ask how you met, is it ok to say that we were cousins? I just dont want them to think that just because we are cousins, the marriage is fake or something because its not...

please helpp

Interview experience is different for everyone. Some one might get lucky and only be asked 2 or 3 questions and on the other hand someone else might be asked a lot. As far as being cousins, that is nothing to worry about. There are so many cases like yours, that they know it is a common practice in Pakistan. My wife and I are cousins and when asked how we met my wife told the CO we are cousins . So dont worry about that. Hope that helped. Good luck..

To everyone else on this sight.................. you can not compare to when an American man gets a visa for a WOMAN............... wife.............. the process is soooooooooooooooooo much more simple.....................than an american female wife procuring a visa for her male husband.............

hey guys

I think my husband just screwed up on the booking:

abu dhabi --> Amsterdam

amsterdam--> detroit

Detroit --> Los Angeles

now Detroit would be his Point of Entry right?? but the problem is that we have 2hr transit time to catch the flight for LA and I am that it will probably take about 1hr or so at the immigration. Has anyone had any idea approx how long it would take at Detroit Wayne County airport Immigration? Do they transfer our baggage to LA? or if we miss our flight what happens.

thanks any info would help.

Farah

I do have her as a full time student in college on my health insurance. (Thats why im thinking partially dependent) She can stay on it until she graduates or turns 23 which ever is sooner. If i put her on the I-134 im still above the 125% proverty line, I just want to do the right thing. I just dont want any surprises that i misrepresented anything.

I believe if you don't take her 'dependecy & personal exemption' on your 1040 she will not be your 'dependent' . Indeed you MAY claim her exemption

if your child is 24 or under and a full time student. But if you don't claim her exemption then you don't list her as your dependent. You might pay for her

college and other expenses and not claim her exemption. She may qualify as a dependent, but the question is did you claim her?

caios, n lucks!
