Anyone coming to the USA has to have a name and fingerprint check so no one can predict if they are given AP/AR or how long it will last. Males with very common names are usually given AP. Good luck to your brother on his interview and hopefully he will not have to wait too long for his visa.

hi everyone!

i have a question regarding ds3032......my husband (USC) sent me the scanned copy of the ds3032 so that we could file it early...but when i print the doc, the bar code comes out blurred...my question is: is it very important that ur bar code be clear? and secondly, if i paste my own bar code (which i'll generate by using the james short) on the doc, will this cause any problems, RFEs or delays at the nvc?..

any help will be appreciated..thanks :)

p.s. we didnt want to use the email method to send the ds 3032

Oh well! I just figured that there's no extra fees if I file i-131 with i-485 so I'll put that in then.

From an email from the Embassy (because we are having b.c. problems for my husband also two sworn statements from parents or older family members, {or} an educational document would suffice.

I spoke with people in Lahore and they said you just need to go to a "grade 1" and have the affidavit sworn by the relatives, or also, the embassy informed me if they have relatives from abroad they can send the notarized copy from where they are. If you let me know your area I can find out where the nearest grade 1 is for you. Any more assistance on this, I'll be glad to help!

Well, my husband is from Rawalpindi. I know that his ID , passport and everything else that I know of.....has the correct name and spelling, but not his B.C. , so he would need to have like his 2 oldest brothers make a sworn statement of his name?? is this correct?

Anywho, he told me that he would ask his oldest bro of where he would need to go or what to do to get corrected and I told my husband that I would ask here as well for some guidance.

thanks
