Please, anyone with some advice or experience on my issue please help!

Faisal and I were introduced by a friend over the Internet. We spent several months talking before we decided to meet in person. I have heard stories of individuals meeting on the internet and trying to file k1/k3 and being denied. I am in the process of filling out the paperwork for us, but I am not sure how to word the section about how we met. Should I say a friend introduced us? Should I mention the internet? Should i not? I heard of a case where a couple met on the internet and they were denied a k3. It took them 3 years to figure it out.

I know that we have our work cut out for us. Being that I am a white American, I know the government will not see the natural connection between Faisal and I.

Please, anyone with suggestions!

All praises for Almighty Allah for His great great blessings.

After more than 14 months AP/AR, i got my visa today via Speedex.

I must mention that VJ has helped a lop otherwise there would have been big surprises for me after each passing day.

Few Questions:

1) On my visa, it is written "upon endorsement serves as temporary i 551 evidence permamnent residence for 1 year". What does its mean?

2) What about my education certificates? do i have to get it verfiied by some govt organization so that it become valid there in USA?

3) What if i change my address in USA? which form is to be used by me? What are the quick guidence from you people on this topic?

Thanks

Asalam-Alaikum(ww)

CONGRATZZZ TO ALL OF YOU!!! Masha'Allah, It gives the rest of us hope that this journey will end.... for all of us Insha'Allah!! Ameen. Summa Ameen!

My husbands interview is coming near, and Im getting more anxious... one main thing im worried abt is.. that we dont have ANY proof of calling.. i mean i talk to him at least ONCE daily if not more times a day... EVERYDAY.. but i use phone cards and so does he...will this be a big deal???? Has anyone ever gone without proof of phone records?

Another thing is that I havnt seen him for 2 years... because when i came back in 2005 i was 2 months pregnant.. so it would have been difficult to go back.. and then it was even harder after i had my daughter.. I was thinking about going now.. but he said lets just wait and see wht happens and then we can decide wht to do..

He does have our wedding pictures, and our pictures after our marriage, marraige videos, and about 400 actual pics of our daughter and like a thousand on CD... and home videos of our daughter, some cards ive sent him... would this be enough??? Is there anything ele I should send him???

Overall, should I be worried? or will this be enough??

and if you have any other advice pls share!

Masalamah

Hello,

This may be a problem and I suggest you go for his interview if at all possible. I know one CR1 here that was able to get their phone calls from the internet carrier they were buying their cards from. The embassy put them on AR/AP and asked for the newer calls listed and it was a lot of work to provide. She had to highlight the 800 company number and it going into his cell in Pakistan. If you cannot they will just make sure you have other proofs. I would get internet chats, any bills you have added his name too in the states like utilities, mortgage, etc. Ali Khan is correct in saying to make sure you have detailed proof of not being back to Pakistan.

I heard of a case where a couple met on the internet and they were denied a k3. It took them 3 years to figure it out. My husband and I met over the internet and talked for over one year before he asked me to marry and our meeting. When I submitted our forms I wrote out the details of the internet and after we decided to marry we kept chat logs. Meeting on the internet is not going to produce a denial --- denials are from not having on going proof, enough proof, or that the person is already married, etc.

I know that we have our work cut out for us. Being that I am a white American, I know the government will not see the natural connection between Faisal and I. I am white American too, they will ask his family if they agree to the marriage what is your religion, any previous marriages or kids and what religion are they, kids names and dates of birth, where will he live, and ask indepth questions so just be prepared and honest and look for being put in AR/AP for them to thouroughly investigate your relationship so make sure you keep phone records that can be pulled and looked at. I kept an International plan on my phone until after his POE. I made one call weekly on this landline and printed off the records monthly for him. We used phone cards to talk daily :luv: but there was no detailed records on this call. Keep emails, and if you marry and file the K3 make sure to add him to what bills you have if possible.

Good luck on your journey.

Mary

Thank you for congratulating me and replying my questions.

Now i would like that some minute questions must be asked to make the things clear to myself

1) Can my POE be only Houston? Can it be NY? or any other?

2) is it necessary that i reach USA by PIA only? Can i take some other carrier?

Thanks

1) Can my POE be only Houston? Can it be NY? or any other? You can use any POE most K1s use JFK to get the temp EAD.

2) is it necessary that i reach USA by PIA only? Can i take some other carrier? You can use any carrier you wish and Mian flew into the USA on Emirates and had a much more enjoyable and cheaper flight then my PIA.

Thanks
