Omid you are saying this lady is going to marry someone that was deported from say UK? If so the waivers would not apply since he is not immigrating to that country if I am understanding you correctly. I have not heard of a denial but it will show up on his police reports from where he was deported. My concerns if he did get approved that he would have long AR/AP since he has something in the past to investigate whereas our fiance/hubbies are on AR/AP with clear records. This is just my take on what you wrote and I think this couple no matter what visa they apply for will have a long road ahead of them.

good luck to everyone in the coming week, hopefully we get some good news. Pakistani Labor day, please i think those embassy people should work twice as hard on that day, instead of taking a day off.

I got following response from Islamabad today.

A packet 3.5 has been mailed to this applicant on May 1, 2006, at her address in Lahore Cantt. As soon as she has responded to this packet, we will schedule her visa interview.

It is wonderful news to me. All praises to Almighty Allah, Muhammad (ssw) & his family.

Wish you all best of luck ....

Need some words of wisdom from U guys once my wife will get package 3.5. Anythings specials we have to take care or just sign papers and send them back to embassy in order for them to schedule our interview.

Here is list of the documents I will send to my wife for our interview.

1) DS-230 (completed and filled out with Adobe Acrobat Pro, since I've heard they prefer and may require typewritten or computer filled application rather than hand-written application forms)

2) I-864 Affidavit of support (it is for CR1/IR1 only completed and filled out with Acrobat, and notarized -- this form must be notarized)

3) My last year's 1040, last year's W-2, tax transcripts from tax years 2003-2005 3 years)

4) A dated letter on company letterhead from my employer stating how long I have been working for them, position and job title, annual salary, and detailed employment history 5) Copies of our last journey itineraries during my last trip to Pakistan (Visa stamped, Passport copies, hotel receipts)

6) Copies of phone bills with my calls to her highlighted

8) Receipts of money I transferred to her

7) Her birthday cards, wishing cards to me and mine to her.

8) Wedding photographs. (Three albums, which include wedding reception, valima)

9) Photocopies of wedding certificates and other papers related to marriage.

Please add anything if I skip something.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I had my husband put on my bank account, and my insurances at work. I also put him on the bills. I had my husband take in proof of all of this.

Well gang I am asking you to pray for me too.

I may have some good news now. I called DOS today and they said the embassy was sending Ishteaq a letter to return in person again. This letter was to be sent to him today or tomorrow and they will not tell me all the details since it was for him. At the time of his interview they did not take his passport. I am excited since Shon is having good news today.
